Eekks… hi!
Welcome to the extended inch” the supplement to the great Horror Show going on TheReelMag. By all means, this edition has been phenomenal and so, we planned to go further with a few more stories.
An uncle (retired Government employee) of mine said an interesting thing about horror genre. Ponder! “Montu (that is my nick name) horror movies reflect not only the little elf in us but also, at times, brings up the blood sucking pervert demon too. In the name of art, sometimes even garbage is auctioned. In some movies people turn cannibals or kill just for fun etc etc. Is that cinema or just ugly piece of mind sold in the name of art? Horror must have a limit. It should make you feel nervous. But if it makes you throw up in disgust… that’s not horror, for the matter of fact not even cinema?”
Should there be a limit to what is shown in name of art on celluloid. Let’s have a debate…

nice debate to start with.
well, i totally agree with your uncle. there should be a logical censorship over what is shown in horror flick considering a large part of the viewership comprises of kids.
N yes... cool nick name.
even i agree wid ur uncle montu...i alwez used to wonder how art can b so ugly..gross!n to my dismay theres not just one but many in this list..wich only make us feel sick!
ofcourse there should be a statutory censorship to what is being projected on the silver screen, but then are we not the lords of our own conscience?? i mean,we we have the full basic right to decide what to see and what to avoid!!! Its for us to pick the better ones from the lot.n regarding horror flicks,i believe they are for entertainment, shouldnt get serious about it or we might miss out on the fun :P
